The Book Fair was a week-long event for grades Pre-K through 6th grade. It started on Monday, October 23rd, so kids could shop for books and toys. Each teacher had a time that the kids could preview the items. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, eight teachers went to the elementary library at different times. They had 30 minutes for the kids to buy what they wanted. That Friday, the kids that had not bought anything had an additional hour to shop. Ms. Dortha, the Librarian Aid, ran the book fair with the help of Mrs. Sparks, the Librarian. The book fair helps the library by raising money for new books for students to enjoy.
