Staff Member of the Month: Teresa Bowen

Mrs. Teresa Has been a member of the Collinsville staff for 9 years now and she says she has enjoyed every minute of it. Her favorite part of the job is working with the kids and getting to know them. She says the most challenging part of her job is keeping things in order and looking nice and clean. Not only does she work at Collinsville, but she does lawn care and volunteers at the Collinsville Fire Department. She loves her job at Collinsville, but says if she had to do something else she would work in the medical field to help people. When asked if she was trapped on an island with one coworker who and why she said, “Brenda Nash because we have been working with each other for a long time and she is dependable.”

Mrs. Teresa enjoys steak and Mexican food. Her hobbies are camping, fishing, spending family time with her grandchildren, and she is an avid driver of the Quick Attack. She doesn’t watch much T.V. but when she does she enjoys Law and Order SVU and she likes all types of music. Mrs. Teresa gave us these words of wisdom, “Keep pushing on with one foot in front of the other stay focused.”
