Shaun Stewart is a senior at Collinsville High School who is very involved at the school and with the community. Shaun is a member of FCCLA(Family Career and Communities Leaders of America, FBLA(Future Business Leaders of America), and Beta Club. He completed four dual enrollment courses (History 201, History 202, and two heavy machinery operating courses with Mr. Clanton) through Northeast Alabama Community College. Shaun is also a key player for the football and baseball teams. Shaun said his favorite part of high school was “Meeting new friends through the years and building bonds that he hopes will last a lifetime.” He was also asked about his favorite memory from sports, which he said was, “Beating Valley Head in the last regular season game in tenth grade and ruining their 10-0 season.”

Shaun claims that he is not ready for graduation because is not ready to part ways with all of his friends, but he is looking forward to getting out into the real world and exploring what it has to offer. His future plans are to attend NACC then transfer to Jacksonville State to receive his degree in communications. After receiving his degree he hopes to become a sports analyst or broadcaster because this would give him the opportunity to stay involved with sports.
