On Thursday May 5th, Collinsville hosted a Job Fair. The following companies were set up in the auditorium:

NACC Workforce Development

Collinsville Health Care and Rehab
Koch Foods
The Children’s Place
Renfro
Heritage Wire Harness
Juniors and Seniors had the opportunity to talk to local company representatives and ask questions. Some students applied for a few jobs and several were even hired. We spoke to a few upcoming graduates and they enjoyed walking around and receiving useful information about the benefits some of the companies offered.
Luis Mendez, Jorge Cordova, Alex Wright, Aaniah Stewart, and Nyjaa Rooks signed with The Children’s Place and will start full-time after graduation.
Collinsville FCCLA student’s also prepared lunch for the company representatives. They were the first to cook for the public since the new FACS/AG building was built.
