This month's staff member of the month is Tera Tatum, Collinsville’s Snack Store Manager. Panther Press Editor-in-Training Hannah Allen sat with Ms. Tatum to find out more about her.
HA: How long have you worked for Collinsville High School?
TT: The first year was a solid year, then I left for a year, and now I have been back for 2 years.
HA: What career path would you have taken if you didn’t work at Collinsville?
TT: I would be a stay-at-home mom and make saddles.
HA: What has been the most challenging part of your job?
TT: Getting orders filled for snacks.
HA: What is your favorite part of the job?
TT: Seeing the kids happy to get snacks.
HA: What is your favorite food?
TT: Pizza
HA: What are your hobbies?
TT: Pickleball and riding horses.
HA: Do you have a favorite TV show?
TT: Farmer wants a Wife.
HA: What kind of music do you listen to?
TT: Country music
HA: What snacks do you sell the most?
TT: Takis and Pepsi
HA: What , if anything, do the principals usually get at the snack store?
TT: Crawford gets water and peanut butter crackers along with chocolate sometimes and Osborn gets Diet Pepsi.
HA: If you were trapped on an island with only food and drinks from the snack store, what is something you despise that would never get eaten?
TT: Sour Punch Straws
